Desiree Perez is the female powerhouse guarding the expansions of the streaming service TIDAL. The COO at TIDAL made the deal between TIDAL and Sprint for $200 million in exchange for Sprint having 33% of title. TIDALstreaming services is now available to 45 million Sprint customers.
Desiree Perez has managed -through this deal- to assist Jay-Z in promoting and selling his album 4:44 through the TIDAL streaming service. Their combined promotional efforts put 4:44 at number two on the Billboard 200. Paris set up special exclusives for TIDAL streamers. One of those special exclusives is for Jay-Z’s upcoming tour after they made a $200 million tour deal with live nation.
These advancements by Desiree Perez have created more growth for TIDAL streaming services. They have also helped TIDAL to expand. Richard Sanders is set to join on at TIDAL as the new CEO. Richard Sanders formally was a senior executive at Sony music and Kobalt. It was announced last August that he is going to be joining the title team.
Being the strong business woman that she is, Desiree Perez sees all of these advancements as excellent progress on her part for the streaming service.
