Not a day goes by without at least one article in a newspaper that talks about some sort of progress being made in medicine. This is thanks to in large part because of researchers such as Jorge Moll. Jorge Moll’s main interest of study is neurology, in the context of human behavior (fehosul.org). The exact term for this type of study is called moral cognitive neurosciences. It is the study of social cognition and human behavior, which is found in a unique way in humans. Using modern technology, researchers such as Jorge are finding that certain areas of the brain are playing an important role in moral cognition. The importance of this is that it is giving researchers new understanding on social behavioral impairments in certain people.
